Disney is releasing a variety of films in 2020, ranging from animated adventures to action movies, superheroes, and a long-awaited comedy book movie. 2019 was a big year for Disney on many levels: Avengers: Endgame became the highest-grossing film of all time, the Fox deal was completed and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker arrived to kick off the Skywalker saga. Other big releases from Disney in 2019 were the live-action and CGI adaptations of Toy Story 4, Frozen 2 and Aladdin, Dumbo and The Lion King. Certainly, Avengers: Endgame was not the only Marvel film to come out last year, as Captain Marvel and Spider-Man: Far From Home also arrived to add more history to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Disney will continue to have the type of content expected from 2020 (eg: family-friendly movies) but also more mature stories that have arrived in the Fox package.
