Nobody filmed the 1917 movie true story film. At least it was produced as a big shot which is really amazing. It is the best of all one shot films made so far. The entire film is so intense and so agile.

Another Master Peace by Sam Mendes. Sam Mendes and Christy Wilson-Cairns are the authors. This is the first film in history to be a female writer for an epic war film, which is a great thing. Sam Mendes created the story based on his grandfather’s story which took place in WW-1. Not many films have been made on World War 1, usually we get World War 2 movies every year.

Roger Deakins’ cinematography is as crazy and brilliant as ever. The film is full of spectacular scenes. It is a great viewing experience in the theater. I was completely captivated while watching the film. Editing is top notch. The entire film camera is always moving and occasionally moving but it does not stop which is not a symbol for the story to reach the destination on time and stop the journey. The stunt choreography is superb. Being a war film it has a limited amount of action sequences which is cool. The natural lighting works wonderfully and the flares scene is cool.

George was deeply in love with McKay and Dean Chapman. Both of them did a fantastic job. Colin Firth is as good as ever. Andrew Scott became great and funny in just three minutes. When Mark Strong first appeared, we are able to see the lower half of his body, we only hear his voice. Then I realized that he is a great actor so that he can act with his other half. Benedict Cumberbatch looked staunchly quiet for a few minutes, but he didn’t have much that we could still understand his intentions, his tenacity and his full character in a short period of time. I loved Benedict’s line “There is only one way to end this war, Last Man Standing” such a quiet dialogue. In the end Richard Madden showed great moments to pull the emotional strings with George McKay and it worked perfectly for me.

In the end George’s race is epic and the way he fell twice which is not fully planned before shooting, while making it more natural and realistic. I like that scene very much. The best scenes in this film are George McKay and Dean Chapman, who are in no man’s land and empty enemies in the barracks, George escapes from the enemies, low back in song scenes, George in the battlefield and George Richard There are scenes from Madison.

Great score by Thomas Newman. When George Kem came to the movie to sing “Come Back to Us” and was relieved, he felt relieved, a feeling that he had reached his destination, it happens to him that I felt it with him. When the song played, I felt a hush inside me. I love this song so much.

I’m already a big fan of Thomas Newman, Sam Mendes, Roger Deakins and I’m already a fan of George McKay and Dean Chapman. Definitely an Oscar worthy for Best Picture, Best Cinematography, Best Sound Editing and Mixing.
