An underworld agency is specialised in manufacturing equipments whose entropy is reversed. They use this technology to change the events for their needs. A special agency (afterlife samaritan) then looks for a person who has no obligation in his life and can be used as Scape. They then recruit Cobb (JDW) on a mission to terminate the secret agency. He then assembles a team of Pattinson (Neil, specialist in time travel), Dimple kapadia and himesh Patel. Things quickly turn against their side as they should complete the mission before oxygen runs out. The movie ends with JDW character who is now old is stuck between real world and inverse world, and Pattinson becoming Batman. The Russian antagonist (Kenneth branagh) becomes young because of side effects of time inversion and travels to Hogwarts to learn magic. Dimple kapadia goes back to Bollywood as this will be her first and last Hollywood flick. There is a cameo by Denzel Washington, who plays older JDW. But audience will not believe because he’s a well known actor from Pulp fiction (that black guy with weird moustache).

I cannot hype this movie up enough. I came into it skeptical because I’m a firm believer in the deteriorating reputation of the horror film industry; they just don’t make good ones anymore. But this one exceeds my already low expectations to the point of having the same effect if I’d had higher ones. The cinematography is just one of the things that makes it captivating; it deals the perspective of putting the viewer as a spectator into their lives extremely well and sets the mood perfectly at the same time. The fact that it deals with the portrayal of the main character’s trauma so well in relation to her upcoming experiences makes it more believable as well. I was intrigued by every moment, pressing on just the right brain spots to keep it racing. The plot line being something enforced by realistic technology instead of supernatural helped its case even more. All in all, this movie was a real piece of cinema and in my future plans for repeat viewings.

The trailers were great because they set you up expectations and while the scenes did not come into fruition as expected, they delivered so much more in terms of comedy and sentiment!  Also the writers.did an amazing job telling the story and ensuring little details weren’t forgotten.  I would have liked a bit more on Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s character, perhaps some more backstory on Cassandra Cain (maybe some suggestion on her eventually becoming Batgirl?) and perhaps more explanation as to why Dinah Lance kept her identity secret (it’s briefly discussed) However, overall the characters showed enough growth and development while still staying true to themselves.  Not to mention the amazing acting by Margot Robbie!  As a DC comic geek I loved the portrayals of the characters while still making it a good standalone for my non-geek friends who I watched it with.  Overall I would highly recommend this movie for movie-lovers and comic-lovers alike! ❤️
